One Week

Our big day is in one week from tomorrow! ONE WEEK.
Once our new adventure starts i'll probably start a new blog....eventually, about our life together as Mr and Mrs.

We are all smiles over here and I feel like there's nothing that can stop it. When you find the one that you know will be your forever, you can't imagine life without him by your side.

Brittni Willie did all of our pictures, she's brilliant!

1. my family (parents and two sisters) now reside in Canada. i miss them like crazy and refuse to drive past our old home because i did once the other day and it made me cry :(

2. I'M ENGAGED! this is the best news because it's what's making me so dang happy this past week. we've been engaged since last Monday, i can't believe it's been a whole week! he is my best friend and seriously i've never been more happy with life. we're getting married May 3rd and i caaaaaaaaaaaaaan't wait.
i feel like the luckiest girl alive, because i am. i'm so stoked to be a part of the Carlson family too, they are the coolest. and here's the ring!
i've got lots of pictures and videos too from that day (most of them taken without me knowing that he would be asking me to marry him an hour later) which is awesome cause i've got that special day documented pretty well :) i was completely surprised which made it so fun! i love him.

and 3. MLKJR Day Eve did happen this year (4th year runnin) we take that day very seriously if you didn't know.
just two noobs enjoying their favorite holiday. we really are the weirdest though...whatevz! and yes we are wearing the same shirt (not planned) haha.
that girl leaves in a month! noooooooooooo! i'm going to miss her like crazy.

so i know this movie looks really creepy and stuff, but you should go see it. it's hilarious, i was laughing the whole time and still am. and it has tons of good music which is always a good thing.

also, SPOILER, who else is way ticked off about season 3 of Downton Abbey?? i mean really, did my two favorite people have to die, and in the same season, too? gay.

I made this while I was in LA today,

because videos are cooler than photos sometimes.
& guess what. Tomorrow I start a new job. WHOOP WHOOP. I'm stoked, and also so glad to be back in Utah.

Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park

Yesterday I planned to only run a couple of miles...but it ended up being like nine or ten. It was too beautiful to stop! I ran up and over the Lions Gate Bridge which is about a mile and a half and then I discovered the Sea Wall in Stanley Park which goes all the way around the park (rainforest) right along the ocean. So I just started going and couldn't stop, it was too pretty. I ran through three beaches and all the way to the other end of Vancouver.

Deep Cove

This, my friends, is where it's at. My parents are going to be renting a house in Deep Cove, minutes away from the water. Basically you feel like you're in a forest by the sea.
A walk to the beach in one direction and a walk to the village in the other. And when I say village I mean cute little shops and yummy food, gelato, famous donuts, a bristo with the best pasta I've ever tasted, etc.
I'm pretty jealous.

Gransville Island

Gransville Island. It's a small island north of Vancouver right by the harbor (or harbour as the Canadians write it). The public market is really cool, lots of raw fish and stuff. There's also a ton of really cool shops with so many nick nacks that you just have to touch and you just wanna buy it all but there's not room in your carry on.

You know, as cool as it is to be here and to have so much to see, I would so rather see all of this stuff with someone else by my side. It's way more fun to have someone else to point things out with and then to share those memories with that person later on. I like having people in pictures too, I mean I don't wanna ask people to take a picture of just me in front of the ocean or something (hah, gay!). Oh well, someday I'll bring Chaser here.
